Wolfskrieger Draupnir Folding Knife Nominated for IWA Knife Award 2026

Neumünster / Nürnberg, Germany – February 2026 – Wolfskrieger is proud to announce that the Draupnir Folding Knife has been nominated for the IWA Knife Award 2026 in the EDC Folding Knives category.

Presented as part of IWA OutdoorClassics in Nuremberg, the IWA Knife Award recognizes outstanding products from the international knife industry. For 2026, entries are judged by an independent international expert jury on workmanship and materials, functionality and practical utility, aesthetics and design, packaging, and originality.

The Draupnir will be presented alongside the other entries during IWA OutdoorClassics, with the award ceremony taking place at the BLADE Demo Area on February 28, 2026.

“We wanted Draupnir to combine modern materials and a very clean EDC design with something that people can actually carry and use every day,” said Leon Kruse, CEO of Arxma GmbH, the holding company behind Wolfskrieger Germany. “Being nominated for the IWA Knife Award in the EDC Folding Knives category is a great recognition of that concept.”

About the Draupnir Folding Knife

The Draupnir Folding Knife combines high-performance materials, refined design and practical everyday usability.

At its core is a blade made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel, selected for its combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance and overall reliability.

The handle is manufactured from forged carbon fiber, the same material concept used in Wolfskrieger's Yggdrasil Precision Tripod. The manufacturing process produces a lightweight and rigid structure with a distinctive marbled appearance, making every handle visually unique.

Despite its modern appearance, the Draupnir was deliberately designed as a two-handed opening folding knife, allowing it to fit within the German legal framework for everyday carry. A deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife discreet and readily accessible.

The design reflects the philosophy behind the wider Draupnir product line:

Every Day Counts. Make It Legendary.

Named after Draupnir, the mythical ring of Odin that multiplied itself every ninth night, the product line represents the idea of preparedness and capability multiplying through the equipment carried every day.

For Wolfskrieger, Draupnir is about making EDC equipment that is not simply carried, but relied upon.
