Yggdrasil at Tag der Bundeswehr

Held on June 6, 2026 at the Universität der Bundeswehr München in Neubiberg, the Tag der Bundeswehr gave visitors an opportunity to experience the equipment, capabilities and people of the German Armed Forces.

The Munich program included exhibitions and demonstrations covering a broad range of Bundeswehr capabilities, including Special Forces, military vehicles, aviation and other specialist equipment.

Among the equipment on display was the Yggdrasil Precision Tripod, used as a stable platform for observation optics.

“It is always great to unexpectedly come across our equipment in professional environments,” said Leon Kruse, CEO of Arxma GmbH, the holding company behind Wolfskrieger Germany. “Yggdrasil was designed as more than a shooting tripod. Observation and sensor systems are equally important applications, and seeing it used this way at Tag der Bundeswehr is another good example of the versatility of the platform.”

About the Yggdrasil Precision Tripod

The Yggdrasil Precision Tripod was developed as a lightweight but extremely rigid support platform for precision rifles, observation systems and other professional equipment.

Its forged carbon-fiber construction and heavy-duty 44 mm legs provide a highly stable platform while keeping total weight below 3 kg. With up to 180 cm of usable height, the system can accommodate both shooting and observation applications across a wide range of positions.

The proven 40 mm ball head provides fast adjustment and secure lockup, while the modular mounting system allows Yggdrasil to support a wide range of compatible weapons, optics, sensors and observation equipment.

That versatility reflects the philosophy behind the platform:

Minimal Footprint, Maximum Capability.
