Wolfskrieger Confirms Yggdrasil Precision Tripod in Service with Cyprus Special Forces
Neumünster, Germany – August 23, 2026 – Wolfskrieger can now publicly confirm that its Yggdrasil Precision Tripod is in service with the Cyprus Special Forces, following the publication of official imagery from a joint live-fire training event with the U.S. Marine Corps.
The Yggdrasil can be seen in imagery from a January 2026 range day in Pyrga, Cyprus, involving the Cyprus Special Forces and U.S. Marines from Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Europe. The training was subsequently featured in an official U.S. Marine Corps post on X and published through the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS).
DVIDS describes the event as a live-fire range involving Cyprus Special Forces and FAST Company Europe. The official imagery is available here:

The photographs were taken by U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Garrett Gillespie and released by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa. DVIDS identifies the training location as Pyrga, Cyprus.
“Now that the use of Yggdrasil by the Cyprus Special Forces has become public through official U.S. military imagery, we can disclose the relationship,” said Leon Kruse, CEO of Arxma GmbH, the holding company behind Wolfskrieger Germany. “Cyprus is far from the only Special Forces customer using Yggdrasil. The system is already in use with a number of additional Special Forces customers, although in most cases we are not able to disclose their identities.”
Kruse added: “Yggdrasil was developed around a very simple idea: provide the stability of a serious precision shooting platform without forcing the user to carry unnecessary weight or complexity. Seeing the system being used by professional end users in the field is the best validation we can get.”

Built for professional field use
The Yggdrasil Precision Tripod was developed as a lightweight, heavy-duty support platform for precision shooting, observation and other demanding field applications.
Its forged carbon-fiber construction combines a high level of rigidity with a total system weight of less than 3 kg. Large-diameter legs and an inverted leg design provide a stable shooting platform while allowing rapid adjustment between standing, kneeling and low positions.
A single locking point on each leg keeps operation simple and enables fast deployment in situations where equipment needs to work without adding unnecessary steps for the user.
At the center of the system is a 40 mm ball head designed to provide a broad range of adjustment while maintaining the rigidity required for precision applications. The mounting system supports both ARCA and Picatinny interfaces, allowing compatible rifles and equipment to be attached directly.
Additional features include QD sling attachment points, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch accessory interfaces, interchangeable rubber and spike feet, and provisions for additional stabilization.
The Yggdrasil was developed according to Wolfskrieger's guiding principle:
Minimal Footprint, Maximum Capability.
Its use by the Cyprus Special Forces represents one of the first publicly identifiable military users of the system. Further Special Forces users currently remain undisclosed.
