Neumünster, Germany – May 2026 – Footage from Ukraine shows a Wolfskrieger Yggdrasil Precision Tripod being used with a Heckler & Koch MG5 machine gun.
Yggdrasil Precision Tripod in Ukraine
The publicly available footage provides an interesting real-world example of the Yggdrasil being used in a machine gun support role.
“We do not know exactly how these Yggdrasil tripods ended up in Ukraine, but seeing the system used there with an MG5 is interesting regardless,” said Leon Kruse, CEO of Arxma GmbH, the holding company behind Wolfskrieger Germany. “Yggdrasil was designed from the beginning as a lightweight, highly stable support platform rather than just a conventional precision rifle tripod. Seeing it used with a 7.62 mm machine gun is a good example of that versatility.”
The footage also represents another publicly visible example of Yggdrasil in professional use, alongside systems already in service with Special Forces and other professional users.
About the Yggdrasil Precision Tripod
The Yggdrasil Precision Tripod was developed as a lightweight but highly stable support system for precision rifles, observation equipment and other demanding field applications.
It combines forged carbon-fiber construction with large-diameter legs and an inverted leg design, while keeping the overall system weight below 3 kg. A single locking point per leg allows fast adjustment between different shooting positions.
At the center of the system is a 40 mm ball head supporting both ARCA and Picatinny interfaces, allowing compatible rifles and equipment to be mounted directly.
Designed around Wolfskrieger’s principle of “Minimal Footprint, Maximum Capability,” Yggdrasil is intended to provide professional users with a versatile support platform without unnecessary weight or complexity.
