Yggdrasil Tactical Tripod Enters Testing Ahead of Planned 2026 Launch

Neumünster, Germany – August 2026 – Wolfskrieger is currently testing the Yggdrasil Tactical Tripod, a new military-focused version of the proven Yggdrasil Precision Tripod, with a planned market launch by the end of 2026.

The prototype is currently being evaluated by various police and military Special Forces units, with their feedback feeding directly into the final development phase.

A Tactical Version of the Yggdrasil

The goal behind the project is straightforward: take the qualities that made the Yggdrasil Precision Tripod popular with precision shooters and professional users, and develop a version specifically tailored to military and law-enforcement applications.

“The Yggdrasil Precision Tripod has become a platform that a lot of professional users genuinely like working with,” said Leon Kruse, CEO of Arxma GmbH, the holding company behind Wolfskrieger Germany. “With the Tactical Tripod, we want to take that same concept and adapt it much more closely to the requirements of military and police Special Forces. That is why the prototypes are currently being tested directly by those users.”

Compared with the Precision Tripod, the Yggdrasil Tactical Tripod will be more compact and focused specifically on the needs of professional operators. Portability, rapid deployment and integration with mission equipment are central priorities, while retaining the stability and versatility associated with the Yggdrasil platform.

Tested Before It Goes to Market

Rather than defining the final specification in isolation, Wolfskrieger is using the current testing phase to gather direct feedback from experienced end users.

“The objective is not to simply make a smaller Yggdrasil,” Kruse added. “We want the differences to be driven by how the equipment is actually carried and used. The current testing phase is there to make sure the final product reflects those requirements before we lock the design.”

If development and testing continue as planned, Wolfskrieger expects the Yggdrasil Tactical Tripod to reach the market by the end of 2026.

Further specifications and details will be announced closer to launch.
