Neumünster, Germany / United Kingdom – August 2025 – One thing stood out to us at the 2025 IPRF Precision Rifle Rimfire World Championships in the UK: there were a lot of Wolfskrieger Yggdrasil Precision Tripods on the range.
The championship brought precision rifle shooters from around the world to the United Kingdom from August 17–24, 2025. Great Britain hosted the Rimfire World Championships through the Great Britain Precision Rifle Association, with the event taking place at the West Midlands Shooting Centre.
Yggdrasil on the World Stage
For Wolfskrieger, seeing so many Yggdrasil tripods being used at an international World Championship was particularly rewarding.
The Yggdrasil Precision Tripod was originally developed together with North European PRS shooters around the demands of practical precision shooting. Stability, usable height, low weight and fast repositioning were central to the concept from the beginning.
Precision rifle competition places unusual demands on equipment. Shooters need stable and repeatable positions while still being able to move and adapt their equipment quickly throughout a match.
Yggdrasil was developed around exactly these requirements, combining 44 mm forged carbon-fiber legs, up to 180 cm of usable height and a total weight below 3 kg.
But for us, the most interesting part of the World Championships was not the specification sheet.
It was simply seeing Yggdrasil after Yggdrasil on the range, used by competitors from different countries at one of the biggest stages in precision rifle shooting.
